Guardian Credit Union is now introducing Project: Home. This contest allows members to send a picture of a room in their home that needs remodeling or an update. Members are encouraged to post this picture to our Facebook, Twitter, or Pinterest page in order to be considered for the grand prize of $1,000. Any room in the members home will be considered for the contests. Members have until the end of April 2014 to send in a picture.

This contest is promoting our Home Equity Loan with rates as low as 2.75% for up to 60 months long. We value our customers by providing the lowest rates possible.

*APR= Rate is subject to Guardian Credit Union’s credit criteria certain conditions and restrictions. If refinancing an existing Guardian Home Equity Loan, an additional $5,000 borrowed is required to qualify for these rates. Fixed rate loans up to 80% loan to value (LTV); other rates apply for LTV’s above 80%. Rates available for new Guardian loans only (no refinances). Other terms and rates apply for refinancing current Guardian loans. No annual fees or closing costs. An appraisal fee of up to $350 may apply. Repayment Example: $17.86 per $1,000 borrowed. Early termination fee of $250 may apply if loan closed within 2 years. Late payment fee: $10 or 5% of the unpaid amount due, whichever is less.

Guardian Credit Union membership is open to anyone living or working in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, Kenosha, Ozaukee, Washington, and Walworth counties. A $5.00 savings account is required.

Funds are insured to at least $250,000 by the NCUA. Contest is open to anyone, no membership is required. Contest runs February 1 – April 30, 2014.
